Take some time to explore the city at your leisure before meeting your Tour leader this afternoon for a welcome meeting, featuring a light dinner and a welcome drink to launch your unforgettable journey through the highlights of Germany.

Rise to the top of the iconic Berlin TV Tower for stunning 360° views of the city and the Spree River. Discover how this once-symbol of East Germany’s communist regime transformed into a powerful emblem of a unified Berlin. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace. If you wish, you can join an Optional Experience that delves deeper into Berlin’s past, including a visit to the historic site of Checkpoint Charlie.

Journey to Hamburg!
Depart the vibrant capital of Berlin, where a once-divided past has blossomed into a symbol of unity and modern charm. Travel through the scenic landscapes of eastern Germany, crossing the line where the ‘Iron Curtain’ once stood, and follow the picturesque Elbe Valley northward. Arrive in the historic port city of Hamburg, famed for its maritime heritage and elegant waterways. Discover the city's rich landmarks, from the striking Elbphilharmonie to the bustling Speicherstadt, the Neo-Renaissance City Hall, and the charming Jungfernstieg promenade.

Day 4
Hamburg highlights.
This morning, we set off from our hotel to explore the vibrant city of Hamburg. Our Travel Director will lead us on an orientation tour, showing us some of the city's most famous sights. After the tour, enjoy some free time to discover Hamburg at your own pace. You might walk along the lively Mönckebergstrasse, relax in a local brewhouse, or join an optional guided cruise through the bustling harbor to see why Hamburg is known as Germany’s "Gateway to the World."

Day 5
Journey to Cologne.
We leave the bustling port city of Hamburg and travel south to Cologne, passing through the scenic landscapes of northern and western Germany. Upon arrival in Cologne, we will check in at our hotel. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 6
Cologne highlights.
We begin our day in Cologne and depart from the hotel for a scenic drive along the beautiful Rhine River. Enjoy views of vineyard-covered hills and charming villages as we make our way to a 13th-century castle perched high above the valley. Here, you’ll have free time to explore. Take in the castle’s rich history and imagine the legends of knights and noble families who once lived here. In the afternoon, we return to Cologne and see the impressive Gothic cathedral during our excursion.

Back to Berlin.
